Compliance with this code is required, highlighting the importance of control, yielding to those downhill, following posted signs, practicing safe stopping. It also addresses proper behavior when climbing or descending on foot and the duty to assist others in emergencies. As an instructor, it is crucial to educate students on the code, emphasizing the significance of each principle for their safety while also ensuring they understand and follow these guidelines during their skiing experience.
